We have lived up here for a year now. Crazy!
Here is what I love about our new place...
People are SO nice. People are "wavers" up here. I didn't quite know what to do for the first few weeks. People at the grocery store are so nice too. Sometimes people smile at me and I wonder if I'm supposed to recognize who they are. NO! They are just being nice. Never have I lived in a place this friendly.
No smog or inversion. I can't even believe I lived down there. Ew.
Quiet and relaxing.
They have some sort of accent up here. There are a lot of "we was-ers" here. We'll call that charming.
It's just so darned beautiful.
We love our house and neighbors.
People have all sorts of animals around here. Sheep, cows, horses, chicken, etc.
I have access to the outlet mall at a moments notice.
There are definitely things that we miss from our old place. Like our cute little house, the super close proximity of fabulous grandparents, and everything within a 10 minute drive.
It's been an adjustment but I think I like it here...

Wow I can't believe you have already lived there a year! Secretly I'm jealous. I love it up there. We love coming up to visit! I can't believe Will is 18 months too. He is seriously so stinking cute. I love the mischievous look he has! Can't wait for Spewperbowl!
Well I know that I am sure glad that you guys are here. Although, I can't believe it's been a year already.
